Credit or debit card
Once you've booked your flight online or through our Customer Centre, you can pay quickly and securely using MasterCard, Visa or American Express.
When you pay using a card, you’ll be charged an administration fee for the booking. flydubai will also ask to see the card at the airport before you board your flight.
Please note:
- If a credit/debit card has been used to pay on behalf of someone else, we'll need to see a photocopy of the front and back of the credit or debit card and a photocopy of the cardholder's passport at the airport.
- If the passenger is unable to produce the photocopies at the airport, flydubai will not allow the passenger to travel.
Credit or debit cards can’t be used to pay on behalf of someone else travelling to or from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan or South Sudan.
Cash
If you wish to pay using cash, select the ‘Pay later’ option when you book your flight online or through our Customer Centre. You can pay cash at a flydubai Travel shop or through one of our payment partners.
Please note:
- A cash payment fee may apply.
- If your flight departure is within 48 hours from the time of booking, you must make the payment immediately.
- If you’re travelling in Economy Class, your booking will be on hold for 24 hours allowing you time to make the payment. You must pay for your flight within 24 hours.
- If you’re travelling in Business Class, you’ll have 24 hours to make the payment.
- If your flight booking has both Economy and Business Class as part of your trip, you must pay for your flight within 24 hours.

flydubai vouchers
If you have a flydubai voucher, you can use it to pay for your flight either online, through our Customer Centre or one of our travel partners. Voucher can be used before the expiry date for booking on any available future date and only by the passenger on whose name it was issued.
Apple Pay
When booking through the flydubai Mobile App you can choose to pay using Apple Pay. Making a payment with Apple Pay is simple and works with most Apple devices. Simply add your debit or credit card and pay for your flight safely and securely.
UAE NetBanking
UAE NetBanking is an online payment system introduced by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. It allows you to pay for your flight directly with your bank account in the UAE. Find out more.
UATP
Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) is an airline-owned payment network for business organisations. It is an alternative form of payment accepted by over 250 airlines and thousands of travel agencies globally. UATP allows corporations to manage their travel expenses and streamline billing by providing detailed reports of air travel.
You can pay for your flight using UATP through flydubai website, simply select UATP as your payment option, enter your UATP card number, and the card expiry date. UATP payments are processed just like any other form of payments.
Knet
Knet is a secure and efficient payment gateway service commonly used in Kuwait. When you book a flight with us, you can choose to pay through Knet. To use this service, you must have a bank account with a national bank in Kuwait and be a registered user with Knet.
Please note:
- Knet payment gateway processes only debit card payments
- Knet is accepted only on flights departing, arriving, or connecting from Kuwait
Pay on someone else’s behalf
With flydubai you can pay for another traveller’s flight. Simply select the ‘Pay later’ option when you book a flight, and make a cash payment through one of our Payment partners.
If you wish to pay using a debit or credit card, the passenger you are paying for will need to show a photocopy of the front and the back of your card, and a photocopy of your passport at check-in.
You can’t use a credit or debit card to pay on behalf of someone else travelling to or from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan or South Sudan.
