In the event of a flight cancellation or schedule change, passengers will be notified in advance using the contact details (phone, email or SMS) provided to flydubai during booking. Please ensure that the contact details provided to us or to your travel agent are accurate.
If you are holding a confirmed booking with us and your flight is cancelled or the schedule is changed, you will be given the below options to rebook your flight with us to the same destination.
If, more than 72 hours before scheduled time of departure, we:
- Cancel your flight; or
- Make a schedule change and
- your flight is departing early by more than 6 hours; or
- your flight is departing later by more than 6 hours; or
- You miss a connection with us or one of our partner (codeshare and interline) airlines, due to a schedule change made by us (where the connection is included on the same booking).
You have the option to rebook for free +/- 10 days of your original flight, or to the next scheduled flight and you will not be required to pay a penalty or difference in fare. All refunds (including any unutilised sectors) will be issued in the form of flydubai voucher.
If rebooking for more than +/- 10 days of original flight, no penalty will be payable. However, any difference in the flight fare will need to be paid.

Where you have booked a return journey, the above will apply to both sectors when modified or cancelled at the same time.
For tickets issued through a travel agent or by another airline, please contact the travel agent or airline that made your booking directly.
The above provisions do not affect your statutory/regulatory rights as may be applicable depending on your itinerary.
