Online check-in

Choose your preferred seat and buy more baggage allowance ahead of your flight when you check in online using your computer, tablet, or the flydubai mobile app.

When to check in online

Online check-in is available between 48 hours and 75 minutes before the flight departure time. Due to changes in passenger procedures after you’ve checked in online, you’ll still need to go to the airport check-in counter for us to verify your travel documents and issue your boarding pass.

How to check in online

Website: you can use the Online check-in widget at the top of this page or go to our homepage on flydubai.com and click the Check in tab. Enter the booking reference number, the departing city or the last name and click the Check in online button.

flydubai app: download the flydubai mobile app. Log in using your Emirates Skywards number or continue as a guest. On the home screen click the Check-in icon, enter the booking reference number, the last name or flying from (departing city), and click the Check in button.

Baggage drop-off

If your flight is from Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 2, and you have bags to check in, go to the bag drop desks 19 to 22 for Economy Class or desks 23 and 24 if you are flying in business or you are an Emirates Skywards member (Platinum, Gold or Silver). There they will be tagged and accepted for the flight.

When to board the flight

You'll need to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the departure time of your flight. When you arrive at the airport go directly to one of our check-in desks where we’ll check your documents and print your boarding pass and then you’ll be on your way.

• Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure.
• Boarding starts 45 minutes before your flight.
• Boarding gates close 20 minutes before flight departure.

If you arrive late, you will not be accepted onto the flight and your baggage will be offloaded.

Check-in restrictions

Once you've checked in online, you won't be able to change your booking or add/modify the optional extras on your booking.
