Who can travel?

  • Citizens and residents of the Maldives.
  • Travellers from all countries are allowed to enter subject to meeting the entry requirements.

Entry requirements

  • Passengers travelling as tourists or for a short stay must have a return ticket and a hotel confirmation for the entire stay in a registered tourist facility.

PCR and vaccination documents needed for travelling

  • Passengers are not required to have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 PCR test to enter the Maldives.

Quarantine requirements

  • Quarantine is not required.

  • All passengers and airline crew are required to complete the “Traveller declaration” form no more than 96 hours before arrival at https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/.
