Addis Ababa to Dubai
Your journey from Addis Ababa to Dubai
The first step of your journey takes place at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD). Just five miles southeast of Addis Ababa, you can reach there quickly in a cab. If you’d prefer to drive, take your car and make use of the airport’s car park before heading into the main terminal.
On arrival, go directly to one of our flydubai counters to check in. These open three hours before your flight departs and close 60 minutes before, so you have plenty of time to get everything sorted. If you want to check in online, you can also do so between 48 hours and 90 minutes before you’re due to set off. If you have any bags to check-in, take them to the nearest bag drop where they’ll be tagged and accepted for the flight. Then, simply zip through security and enjoy the airport’s range of restaurants, cafes and shops while you wait for the boarding gate to open.
Once you’ve reached Dubai, getting to the city centre is simple. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is just a 10-minute drive away to downtown and offers a range of public and private transport links to get there. Jump on a public bus or take the Dubai Metro to the city centre from the Abu Hail station, just a short 2km away from the airport by taxi. Alternatively, flag down one of the many available cabs to get dropped off at your hotel’s doorstep, or, for flexibility throughout your trip, rent a car through flydubai.
