Your journey from Zanzibar to Dubai
Your trip to the Middle East will start at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ). Located a short distance from Zanzibar city, it should only take you around ten minutes to travel to the airport in a taxi or private transfer.
Once you arrive at the airport, head to one of our check-in desks inside Terminal 1 where a member of the flydubai team will be happy to welcome you. You can also choose to save time by checking-in online between 48 hours and 90 minutes before your flight.
After you’ve checked in, drop your bags and go through to security. Head through to the departure lounge, explore duty free stores, grab a coffee and relax ahead of your flight.
When you touch down at Dubai International Airport (DXB), collect your bags and head out to arrivals where you can find plenty of travel options to take you into the city. Organise a private transfer, take a cab or hire a car for a more exclusive experience. Alternatively, you can also take one of the many buses which run to the city centre or head to Abu Hail station 2km away and take the Dubai Metro into town. Whatever options you choose, getting to the main city centre is quick and easy.

Head out to the beach, take a desert safari or visit the world’s largest mall - the Dubai Mall. One of the most beautiful things about Dubai is its ability to embrace old and new - once you’ve hit this futuristic hotspot, experience an authentic souk. A shopping experience like no other, wander through stalls of gold, perfume and vibrant spices. Be transported back in time and check out the Al Fahidi Historic Distric. Whatever you’re looking for in Dubai, be rest assured it has something for everyone.
