Your journey from Baku to Abha
Pack your bags and make your way to Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD). Located on the outskirts of Baku, the journey takes around 40 minutes by car from the city centre. If you’re driving, there are long and short stay car parks where you can leave your vehicle. Alternatively, hire a taxi or catch the number 16 bus, which runs from central Baku.
Once you arrive at the airport, head to our desks in Terminal 1 where you can drop your baggage and collect your boarding pass. Pass through the security area with your hand baggage and then relax in the departure hall until your boarding gate is announced. This international terminal is sleek and modern, boasting designer shops and popular restaurants welcoming passengers to browse and dine.
The first leg of your flight will take 3 hours, landing in Dubai International Airport (DXB). There are a number of cafes and shops in Terminal 2, where you can pass the time until your second flight is called. If you’re travelling in Business Class, make your way to the flydubai Business Lounge where you can enjoy a freshly prepared buffet, read the newspapers and watch news om our LCD screens.
After approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes on board, your second flight will land in Abha International Airport (AHB). If you’d like to hire a car, collect your baggage and make your way to the car rental area in the airport. You could also arrange a taxi or private transfer to reach your destination.
