Recharge by the riverbanks

The Don riverside could have once, possibly, been described as sleepy. It’s where famous author Mikhail Sholokhov put pen to paper, gazing over the river and drawing inspiration from all before him. A statue of the And Quiet Flows The Don writer stands on the banks today as a reminder of the city’s cultural importance, but the riverside is a little livelier than it used to be. Chilled-out tunes, carnival vibes and cool urban locals now take over, especially on summer evenings, and it’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing night, watching the world pass by as people celebrate together.
