Istanbul to Kuwait

  • Up to 30 flights per week journey to Kuwait from Istanbul
  • You’ll fly over Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, landing in Dubai for a transfer. Then you’ll fly over the Arabian Gulf to Kuwait
  • The first flight will take 4 hours 25 minutes and the second flight will take 1 hour 50 minutes. The total journey time will depend on the length of your transfer

Your journey

The first leg of your flight will depart from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) in the Pendik district of Istanbul. Travel by taxi or catch one of the regular bus services. The high-speed rail link offers a faster way to reach the airport, delivering you to the nearby Pendik station. If you’re driving, there are more than 4,000 parking spaces available for use in the airport’s multi-storey car park.

Our check-in desks are located in Terminal 3, so make your way to this part of the airport and collect your boarding pass from our friendly team. You can also hand over any baggage which needs to be stored in the hold. Progress through security with your hand baggage and then relax in the departure area until it’s time to board. Pull up a chair in one of the restaurants or cafes and enjoy a bite to eat before you board, or browse the offerings of the duty free shops.

The journey from SAW to Dubai International Airport (DXB) takes approximately four and a half hours. When you land, we’ll take care of your hold baggage and prepare the second flight while you check out the shops and eateries of Terminal 2. Our Business Class passengers have access to our flydubai Business Lounge which stretches across two floors. Head upstairs to enjoy a refreshment in the bistro or relax on the ground floor in luxurious armchairs before it’s time to board your flight.

Less than two hours later, you’ll land in Kuwait Airport (KWI) in Kuwait. There’s a taxi desk in the arrivals hall where you can arrange a transfer to your next destination. Alternatively, you can hire a car with us and explore Kuwait at your own pace.
