Travelling from Amman to Dubai couldn’t be easier with flydubai. You’ll be taking off from Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), 20 miles south of the capital. It’s the largest airport in Jordan and was named the Middle East’s best airport in 2014 by the Airport Council International. Terminals are spacious, technology is top-class and parking is plentiful – with a large short-term parking area, as well as a cost-effective long-term car park providing access to the terminal via shuttle bus.
Checking in is a smooth affair with flydubai, thanks to our handy technology and helpful staff. To save time, you can check-in online between 48 hours and 90 minutes before your flight. Otherwise, check-in desks open three hours before departure and you must check-in at least 60 minutes before take-off. If you have bags to drop off, you’ll find a convenient drop-off area right in front of departures. Hand baggage only? Zip on through to your departure gate once you’ve collected your boarding pass.
There’s plenty to keep you entertained while you await your flydubai flight. Amman’s award-winning new terminal was created by renowned architects Foster + Partners and is composed of concrete domes which branch out from supporting columns like palm trees. Here you’ll find a range of shopping outlets to explore and various places to eat and drink, plus a play area to keep the kids happy.
Dubai International (DXB) is another large and well-equipped modern airport. It’s one of the world’s busiest airports based on international passenger traffic, but that doesn’t mean you’ll find it hard to relax. Grab a deal in a range of duty free shops, enjoy French cuisine at the much-lauded Paul Bakery & Restaurant, or chill out with a cappuccino at Costa Coffee – all located in Terminal 2, where flydubai’s gate is located.
