Your adventure to Almaty will begin at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Making your way to DXB is easy - take a taxi, hop on the bus, organise a private transfer or board the Dubai Metro to nearby Abu Hail station. You can also drive yourself and make use of the ample parking facilities available. What’s more, the airport is located just 15 minutes from the city centre, so your journey will be a swift one.

When you arrive at DXB, head to Terminal 2 where the flydubai team will be ready to check you in. For an even speedier experience, check-in online between 48 hours and 90 minutes before you’re due to fly. Or head to the self-service check-in kiosks when you arrive at the terminal.

After that, simply drop your bags and head through security and into the departure lounge. Dubai Airport is packed with shops, restaurants, cafes and more to keep you entertained until it’s time to board.

When you arrive, you’ll touch down at Almaty International Airport (ALA). Just 30 minutes from the capital city, your journey to the centre will be quick and easy. Catch a taxi from outside the terminal or organise a private transfer. You can also use buses No. 79, 86, 92 and 106 to get into the city.
