Your journey
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is where your journey to Madinah will begin. Getting there is easy, just a 15-minute journey from the city centre. Plenty of transfer options are available, with taxis, buses and the Dubai Metro running directly to the airport. Alternatively, drive yourself and leave your vehicle at DXB airport, where there are plenty of short and long-term parking spots available.
Checking in at DXB is easy, with three options to choose from. Save time on your journey by selecting online check-in or arrive and use one of the self-service kiosks or traditional counters. Once you’ve dropped off your bags and been through security, relax in the departures lounge before your flight to Madinah takes off.
Arrive into Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED) and you’re only a 35-minute drive away from Madinah’s centre. For your transfer, either take a taxi or hire a car. Please note women are not allowed to drive on public roads in Saudi Arabia.

Al Masjid An Nabawī Mosque and Quba Mosque are two beautiful must-sees while in Madinah. As well as visiting the sacred spots, stop by Souq Al Tumor to stock up on Madinah’s famous dates, and explore the slopes of Mount Uhud. Please note that some areas of Madinah are subject to religious restrictions.
