Pack your bags and travel to Dubai International Airport (DXB) to catch your flight. Our check-in desks are located in Terminal 2, which is easy to reach by car, taxi or the Dubai Metro. The closest Metro station is Abu Hail, which is approximately 2km away. If you’re driving, the journey should take about 10 minutes from Downtown Dubai, and there are both short and long-stay car parks on site.
We have a variety of check-in options for your convenience. Our check-in desks open three hours before the flight departs to allow you to collect your boarding pass from a member of our team and hand over any hold baggage. You’ll also see a number of self-service machines in the check-in area, where you can print off your tickets and help speed up the process. Now, you can check-in from the comfort of your home too, selecting your seat and downloading your ticket in the 48 hours before your flight. If you’re travelling with hand baggage only, this means you can skip the queues altogether and head straight through security.
A popular selection of cafes, restaurants and shops fill the terminal building in Dubai, providing plenty of entertainment while you wait for your flight to be called. There’s also a children’s play area and a number of prayer rooms which are available for use.
The flight to Mashhad International Airport (MHD), also known as Shahid Hashemi Nejad Airport, takes just more than two hours. From here, the city centre is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Hail a taxi or jump on the bus, and begin your adventure in the golden city.
