Your journey
You’ll begin your travels to the south-west of Russia at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Just a 15-minute journey from the city centre, you can get to the airport with ease. You can take a bus, organise a private transfer or book a taxi. The Dubai Metro also goes to the nearby Abu Hail station and from there you can take a taxi to the terminal. There’s also plenty of parking at the airport, so driving yourself is also an option.
When you arrive at the airport, you can head to one of our desks in Terminal 2 and we’ll check you in to your flight. You can also use the self-check-in kiosks to input your own details. Alternatively, use our online check-in services between 48 hours and 90 minutes before you’re due to fly for a more relaxed experience. Chill out in the departure lounge, jump the airport queues and enjoy an overall easier time pre-flight. After that, it’s simply a matter of dropping your bags and heading through security into the departure lounge to await your flight.
Once you touch down in Russia, you’ll be at Kurumoch International Airport (KUF). From the airport, the city is just 35km away. You can get there by taking a taxi from outside the terminal building or organising a private transfer. Discover more of Samara when you hire a car for your stay.
Discover Samara
Once Russia’s second capital during the Second World War and now a relaxing beach resort, there’s plenty to suit every traveller in Samara. Spend summer days sunbathing on the sandy banks of the Volga River or take a dip in the clear waters. In winter you can still enjoy relaxing strolls along the waterfront and take in the city skyline and monuments along the way. Once you’ve explored the local area, learn a little bit about its history and visit Stalin’s back-up bunker beneath the Samara State Academy of Culture and Arts. While in Samara, complete your trip by sampling classic Russian dishes such as ukha, a traditional fish soup.
