Your journey from Baku to Muscat

Check-in to the first leg of your journey at Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD). This airport is about 40 minutes from the capital city of Baku and can easily be reached by car, taxi or the Airport Express Line bus. There are long- and short-stay car parks on site, providing a secure place to leave your vehicle while you’re away.

When you arrive at the airport, you can collect your boarding pass and hand over any baggage at our check-in desks, which open three hours before your flight departs. Pass through security and explore the sleek, modern terminal building, which is filled with designer shops and popular cafes. There’s free, unlimited WiFi at Baku Airport too, so you can pass the time watching movies or catching up on social media without worrying about your connection timing out.

Your first flight takes just three hours, soaring over the Caspian Sea, Iran and the Arabian Gulf, before landing in Dubai International Airport (DXB). The time between your transfers will vary depending on the date of your booking, but it can be as little as one hour. While you wait, you could pick up a gift from the duty-free shops or, if you’ve booked a Business Class seat, relax in the flydubai Business Class lounge. You’ll find a delicious buffet spread on offer in this exclusive area, along with a selection of newspapers, magazines and TV screens so you can catch up with the latest headlines.

The second leg of your journey will take just over an hour, flying over the border into the neighbouring country of Oman and quickly landing in Muscat International Airport (MCT). Once you’ve passed through customs and collected your baggage, you can hail a taxi or hire a car to reach your destination.
