Dubai
is a place of contrasts - history and modernity run parallel throughout the city. If you visit its souqs, it’s like stepping back in time and you can expect to see archways strung with colourful textiles, sacks bursting with saffron, and jewellers gleaming with Arabic gold. But steer into the city and things go into fast-forward - humongous malls lined with designer shops, man-made islands, and of course, the seemingly infinite Burj Khalifa. Weave your way through this diverse and vibrant city that’s just craving exploration
