Your journey
Dubai International Airport (DXB) will be the starting point of your Colombo adventure, which is really easy to reach. You can either take a quick cab, jump on the bus or drive there yourself and park at the terminal. Checking in is simple too, with the choice of online check-in, self-service kiosks or terminal counters.
Once checked in, sail through security and enjoy Terminal 2’s facilities before you board. DXB has free Wi-Fi throughout all of its buildings, so you can browse the web to your heart’s content. If you’re hungry, there are plenty of places to enjoy a quick bite to eat and drink.
Arrive into CMB and Colombo’s city centre is just a 35 minute drive away. For your transfer, you can either order a taxi from the desk in the arrival lobby, catch a shuttle bus from the terminal or hire a car with flydubai. Alternatively, there’s a luxury express train which runs from the airport to Colombo Secretariat Station.
